Sara Anwar is a student of National College of Arts, Lahore. Its a very old institution and has a rich history. Gazetteers written about the city of Lahore in 1915 describe the work being done at the school as one of the cultural highlights of the urban center.
Sara loves art, its her hobby and passion. Sara is studying sculpture. She is learning wood carving. Wood carving is a form of working wood by means of a cutting tool held in the hand (this may be a power tool), resulting in a wooden figure or figurine (this may be abstract in nature) or in the sculptural ornamentation of a wooden object. She has also developed some skills in Bronze. Bronze is the most popular metal for cast metal sculptures; a cast bronze sculpture is often called simply a “bronze”. Common bronze alloys have the unusual and desirable property of expanding slightly just before they set, thus filling the finest details of a mold.

We have our second contribution from National College of Arts, Lahore. Tamkeen has a shy but caring nature. She is studying Miniature. (The word miniature, derived from the Latin minium, red lead, is a picture in an ancient or medieval illuminated manuscript; the simple decoration of the early codices having been miniated or delineated with that pigment).
The Mughal tradition in painting has inter- meshed with the Pahari School, the latter being a sort of patrimony of the Lahore Museum and the College after the masterpieces from the Punjab Hill States came into the Permanent Collection of the Museum early in this century. The skill and traditional techniques of Miniature painting are extensively taught and students are encouraged to incorporate an awareness of the contemporary values of this medium. From how to prepare wasli, traditional paper, they learn how to prepare their brushes.
Tamkeen is a traditional Punjabi Kuri, shy but lively. Your comments to this post will make her great.

Still spending her days on the island of St. Lucia, Amy Winehouse was spotted hanging out with some local children before hitting up the bar yesterday (June 5).
The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress looked her usual unkempt self as she chatted with the kids, then heading off to grab a drink clad in a bathing suit top and shorts.

Enjoying yet another day at the beach, Kate Gosselin got a morning workout playing with her kids in Bald Head Island, North Carolina on Saturday (June 6).

Living it up in the sunshine state, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian were spotted out on Washington Avenue in South Beach on Saturday afternoon (June 6).
The E! reality starlets stepped out for a lunch break as they continue to work on the newly opened Dash boutique and film their spin-off show, “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami”.
Keeping fans up to date via their Twitter accounts, Kourtney wrote, “Went for a walk/run on the beach this morning! Such a good way to start the day.”

Jon Gosselin may be a man of few words, but there’s one in particular that definitely gets the reality show star talking.
“Exploited? I don’t even want to use that word, because I think it’s ridiculous,” the Jon & Kate Plus 8 embattled patriarch tells People of the allegations out there that his children are being harmed.
The normally tight-lipped Jon appears on the magazine’s cover, along with a quote that reads, “Enough is enough,” a reference to the media onslaught that has come in the wake of his and wife Kate’s marital woes.

According to the tabloid, Jon and Kate have been kaput for some time, but have remained together for the sake of their TLC program.
“He said he was completely miserable and the marriage was pretty much done,” Todd Cruz, a close friend of Jon’s brother and a bartender at a Pennsylvania restaurant, reveals to In Touch Weekly.
“Jon said then that he confronted Kate six months ago about her relationship with the bodyguard,” Cruz adds. “Jon’s had it—it’s all fake. And Kate is putting on a show.”
And what a show it is.
