Wajeha tells that I am final year student of Art. I love Pakistani tradition, people very much where there they live. I am so confused to do this but as I am broadminded I have confident to do.
She shares some lines about Why Art and Music Education is Important. Wajeha says for the past ten years, public schools have had trouble funding school programs such as art class and music class. Not having at least some kind of music or art education gives kids a severe disadvantage when they enter college and the work place. In art and music classes, children learn to be creative and use other parts of their brain besides the logical part of the brain used in most school subjects. Also, studies have shown that music and art help kids in other subjects like science and math. Studies have shown, too, that art and music class can help kids gain confidence needed to succeed in school and in the professional world. Finally, in art class, students learn how to use tools like drafting chairs and drafting tables that many professionals use, such as architects and graphic designers. Therefore, it is essential that public schools make sure they get the funding they need to keep these programs alive.
The biggest attraction of Karachi is its beach. Where cool breeze flows and water remains good for swimming most of the year. Semi sent this photo when she visited one of the Karachi beaches.
Clifton Beach, on the Arabian Sea, is a beach in Clifton, Karachi, Pakistan, one of the neighborhoods of Saddar Town. The beach has attractions for families and tourists, including beachside horse and camel rides, amusement parks, restaurants, and swimming in the Arabian Sea.
At some place this coast can be sandy and smooth, on others it could be rocky and dangerous. Karachi, being a big and horizontal city, has all sorts of beaches within its ever expanding borders. There are those popular spots where every one likes to visit, like Paradise Point, Hawksbay or sea view; then there are others where only few visit, like the Pir Shams island and many other islands nearby, Russian beach behind the Steel Mill of Pakistan and Gadani.
The whole beach area of Clifton and Seaview is considered safe and peaceful even in times of political tensions.
Gadani and Manora were once popular spots but with brackish water and not much they have lost their place to above mentioned beaches.
But the most photogenic beach of Karachi, in my humble opinion, is the beach that borders Baluchistan. Unfortunately, navy has closed down that stretch of beach, for no apparent reason. But you can still view it from the Sind part of the beach. That stretch of land is called Golden beach.

Jerez de la Frontera dates from Phoenician times, but first rose to prominence under the Moors, who called it Xerix or Sherrich ‘De la Frontera’. These names refer to Jerez’s position on the frontier of Moorish Spain, and the Alcazar (fortress) is a reminder of the town’s strategic importance. The real urban development of Jerez began in Muslim times, during the Almoravide and Almohade periods when mosques and palaces were built and the town was extended dramatically.

Ghazala recently celebrated her graduation and what a graduation ceremony it was! She is very happy to become a excellent graduate. Graduation is the more common word for what is known technically in the University’s Charter & Statutes as ‘conferment’ of degrees. Students who have successfully completed their studies and who are having their awards conferred at a ceremony are known as ‘graduands’. Following their conferment at the ceremony they leave as ‘graduates’.
The most important part of graduation ceremony for her was to deliver a graduation ceremony speech. Public speaking is fun and is also a nightmare. For some people, that is. I enjoy public speaking and I like it when nobody is yawning, and I found humor to be very effective in preventing an audience from yawning. But the problem is, not everybody can pull off with humor when you are speaking on stage. You are nervous, and the joke don’t just seem right. But trust me, if you can pull off one, then it will release the tension from you. And if you can laugh with the crowd, then the crowd is yours.
Since coming up with new jokes is not easy, Ghazala found that telling anecdotes from her past experience, specially where she was laughing at herself, seem to strike the chord more effectively.
